Another gem in an area where excellent food is on nearly every block, Fonda La Finca is mouth watering delicious. We had the barbacoa and the birrira. It was perfect, great service, valet parking, and comfortable atmosphere. I’ll be returning for more..

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Tijuana Zona Rio. Staff is friendly. The restaurant seems well kept. I will definitely come back again. We had the Desayuno Jarocho and Desayuno Asteca. Food was cooked well and the presentation is actually really nice. I highly recommend you visit if you’re ever in this area

We stopped by this morning to have some breakfast and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant was busy but there were still a few tables available for us to be seated almost immediately. I ordered the breakfast special of the day which was the Desayuno Zacatecano which consisted of your choice of protein (chicken breast, steak and I forgot the other choice) along with roasted cactus (nopal asado) a side of beans (frijoles charros) and chilaquiles with crema and queso en salsa verde (a dish made of fried chopped tortillas in green salsa with cheese and cream). Along with this I ordered a cafe de olla (coffee made in a pot with cinnamon and piloncillo - a type of unrefined sugar) with a dash of milk. If you like coffee I highly recommend you try this very delicious and traditional form of Cafe. I also tried a fresh cold glass of agua fresca de melon (a refreshing cool cantaloupe drink). Along with the meal we received a complimentary side of chips, salsa refried beans and pork rinds to snack on before the breakfast arrived. I enjoyed this so much that I will make it a regular stop whenever I visit Tijuana early in the morning.

I rarely give a 5 star. But by far this place deserves it. To begin the cafe de olla is great. It was served hot and they continue to offer it throughout your stay. I came with my husband and brother in law and son so we ordered three plates. I don’t eat borrego, but I tasted my brother in laws and it was amazing. Soft and flavorful with garbanzo beans it was just great. I ordered huevos a la mexicana and they came with a side of chilaquiles, chicharrón con salsa, cocido de papas, and frijoles. My husbands order came with the same sides and he ordered an omelette. The Borrego came with rice and beans and they were delicious. My son order a child’s meal they had a variety of dishes for children and I love to see that. The food was great, well cooked and it tasted like actual Mexican food and not like other place that portray to be Mexican but aren’t. Completely satisfied with their authentic flavors. Sorry I didn’t get to take more pictures we just dove right in. 😆 I added a picture of the receipt because the price was beyond reasonable!

Been going there for years. Had the Higado Encebollado (liver with onions). I only eat it every 3-4 years and this is the place I eat it for a reason. It was accompanied by lentil soup (excellent) and a small salad. Mom had the Albondigas (meat balls) and my brother a Milanesa. I have had lengua in pipian (tongue) before and it's another well recommended dish. We were all very satisfied with the good size meals. The jugo Verde is fresh and we shared a piña colada cheesecake for dessert that was excellent. The service is always courteous and effective. I highly recommend this Zacatecas food style restaurant.

Authentic Mexican for a good price, everything from atmosphere, service and food portions are very good. Price wise is like eating a big meal in USA for 15 to 20 dls. But everything is home made.

SUCH good food. I had major dental work done in Tijuana and can't eat anything solid. We walked over so I could order some beans but they also had a cream corn soup that was delicious and perfect for me to eat. I definitely recommend!!

Great service. Very generous portions and fair prices. Limited parking. Be aware that they might start sweeping and mopping while you are still dining even when it is not closing time. Very rude, hope they stop doing that. Restrooms are clean but too close to the kitchen and with doors always open.
